A Pittsburgh Penthouse

This home in the sky was designed as a retreat for a world traveler

Our client was a busy executive who wanted to forget about work at the end of the day. We designed the pilasters to create the illusion of rooms in the main living area, they also served to frame his artwork throughout. We wanted the condominium to be welcoming for a woman and used softness in textures and finishes. The mirror on the living room wall provides a view of downtown Pittsburgh while working at the kitchen island. The powder room design is inspired by an antique Hindu painting of Krishna coming to earth to seduce a milkmaid.
